The Big Meadow Search is run by volunteers who are members of the Carmarthenshire Meadows Group Steering Group and keen amateur naturalists.

Funding has been gratefully received from Carmarthenshire Meadows Group and West Wales Biodiversity Information Centre to support the development of the BMS website and its online data entry system.
